The Management Board of MONNARI TRADE S.A. sees the need of corporate social engagement in supporting various charity actions. As its financial situation is gradually improving, the company engages in such projects. The previous actions have been selected based on the importance, scope, repute of the given venture and its compliance with the target customer group of MONNARI. |
No formal internal principles regarding the engagement in such projects have been established in the Company.
Even though the last few years have been difficult for the company, MONNARI TRADE S.A. was an active participant of prosocial and charity events. We have been a partner to UNICEF twice, supporting the “Change in good hands” programme; as a sponsor we have participated in the Congress of Women twice; since 2013 we have been supporting Lodz 4 Cultures Festival. The Company also supports an orphanage in Lodz.
In the first half of 2014 the Company took part in national action “The whole change is happiness” organized by Mennica Polska S.A. and TVN foundation, and since April this year a special scheme “Good is Trendy” has been commenced, with MONNARI being its originator and organiser. TVN foundation is a partner of this initiative and Dorota Wellman, Dorota Gardias and Daria Widawska were its ambassadors. The action supported by a television campaign (TVN, TVN7 and TVNStyle) promotes buying of “Good T-shirts” – a special t-shirt line dedicated to this action and designed specially for that purpose. The revenues on sales will be donated to TVN foundation.
